FAQ
How the product works, how the AI is used, where data comes from, and how to start.
RiskFindr helps commercial insurance agencies discover businesses that fit their appetite, research each one from publicly available information, score the fit, surface possible exposure indicators, and draft outreach — all in one guided workflow, with a licensed producer reviewing and approving every step.
No — it's the opposite. RiskFindr does the legwork of discovery and research so producers spend their time on relationships and quotes. Exposure indicators are for producer review, and no outreach is ever sent without a licensed producer's approval.
Each prospect runs through the research pipeline in the background while you keep working. You can queue many at once and come back to a prioritized, fit-scored list. You're never staring at a spinner.
RiskFindr is built for commercial lines across industries — construction and trades, manufacturing, logistics and trucking, hospitality, healthcare, professional services, and more. You define the appetite; the workflow adapts to it.
Yes — prospects and outreach can be exported (CSV today, with CRM export on higher plans). Tell us your stack during a demo and we'll walk through the fit.
Rather than one general chatbot, RiskFindr runs each prospect through a purpose-built pipeline of specialist models — one to research the public record, one to assess risk and agency fit, and one to draft outreach — each with guardrails and a producer at the end.
A fit score is a 0–100 measure of how well a prospect matches your agency's appetite, calculated transparently across dimensions like industry, geography, size, and carrier appetite. You can see the breakdown, not just the number.
Possible exposure indicators are signals worth reviewing — each with source evidence and a confidence level. They are not a determination of coverage needs and do not constitute insurance, legal, or underwriting advice. They exist to start an informed producer conversation.
Never. RiskFindr drafts outreach and waits. A licensed producer reviews, edits, and approves before anything is used. Nothing leaves your hands automatically — by design.
Research is assembled from publicly available business information — company websites, public records, and similar sources. That information can be incomplete or outdated, which is why every result is presented for licensed producer review.
Your target markets, prospects, notes, and outreach live inside your agency's workspace and are isolated from every other agency on the platform. Access is scoped to your team.
Your agency's prospect data, notes, and outreach are used to run your workflow — not to train foundation models. See the Security page for how we handle data boundaries and retention.
Pilot is a one-time engagement to run a single target market end to end — discovery, research, and outreach drafts for up to 50 researched prospects. It's a low-commitment way to see RiskFindr on your own niche before rolling it out.
Yes. We recommend starting with Pilot or Growth and moving up as you add producers and niches. Talk to us any time about the right fit.
Book a demo and we'll show you RiskFindr on your own target market. From there, onboarding sets your appetite and outreach preferences so your first prospect list is tuned to your agency from day one.
RiskFindr does not provide insurance, legal, underwriting, or regulatory advice and does not replace licensed insurance producers.
